Newsletter, resources and inquiries

When you subscribe, we use your email address and subscription preference to maintain your newsletter subscription in GoHighLevel. The signup requires your affirmative choice. You can unsubscribe, and existing unsubscribe and suppression preferences are respected.

When you request a resource, we use your email address in GoHighLevel to deliver that resource. This does not subscribe you to the newsletter.

When you submit an inquiry, we store your contact details, organization, budget and event or partnership information in GoHighLevel so our team can review and respond. We also record your acknowledgement of the terms and privacy notice.

When you email us, our team uses the information you provide to respond through Google Workspace. Please avoid including sensitive information that is not needed for your inquiry.

Website operation

Vercel hosts the website and Sanity supplies its content and images. These services receive technical information needed to deliver requests, such as IP addresses and browser information. The signup service also uses temporary hashes derived from an IP address and email address to limit repeated attempts. Cloudflare provides DNS for the domain.

Optional analytics and marketing

Google Analytics and PostHog receive page visits and selected actions, such as newsletter completion, when you enable analytics. Meta receives selected events when you enable marketing measurement. Our custom event fields do not include your email address or form answers. Connection information, including an IP address, may still reach these providers.

Optional measurement stays off until you choose it. Use the Privacy preferences button to accept, reject or change your choices. You can use the website without enabling either category.

Videos and the marketing diagnostic

YouTube thumbnails may load when you view a page. Playing a video connects to YouTube’s privacy-enhanced player. YouTube handles those requests under its own policies.

The marketing diagnostic calculates suggestions in your browser. It does not require an email address or access to your advertising accounts.

Purposes and choices

We use your newsletter choice and optional measurement consent for those activities. We handle inquiries to respond to your requests, including questions about a potential engagement. Essential technical processing supports delivery, reliability and protection of the website.

Withdrawing consent stops future optional tracking by the website. It does not automatically erase information already received by a provider.

Storage and retention

The website remembers your privacy choice in browser storage for up to 180 days. With analytics enabled, it stores a random browser identifier; withdrawing analytics removes that site identifier. Analytics and marketing providers may also use their own identifiers or cookies.

Google Analytics is configured with two-month event-data retention and fourteen-month user-data retention, with the user period resetting on new activity. These controls do not cover aggregate standard reports.

Unsubscribing does not automatically delete your CRM record. Subscription preferences and suppression records help prevent unwanted future messages. Inquiry records and provider logs are retained in the services that handle them. To request deletion or information about a particular record, contact us using the address above.

Service providers and international processing

We use Vercel, Sanity, GoHighLevel, Google Workspace, Google Analytics, PostHog, Meta and YouTube for the purposes described here. PostHog is configured in its US cloud. These providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Contact us for information about the arrangements relevant to your request.

Your rights

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of personal information, or object to its use. You may withdraw consent and contact a competent data-protection authority. Send requests to privacy@sebastianhardy.ai; we may need information to verify your request.
