A little about me
I’ve always liked
building things.

At 18, I moved to Zurich and worked in event promotions at festivals and concerts.
When I read that a telecom company was ending its free phone-charging service, I had a question:
“Who will charge all the phones at the festivals?”
That became Voltbox. We installed charging stations at hotels and events, funded by advertising so people could charge for free.

We initially tried building our own prototype, then discovered how many models were already available on Alibaba.
It wasn’t all smooth. A supplier failed to deliver equipment we’d paid for while we had promised stations to hotel chains. We had to go back to our investors, find the money and order again.
I eventually sold Voltbox to a competitor.
And then,
pillows.
I worked in affiliate marketing and built and sold blogs and affiliate websites. Then came Formtastic, an Amazon business selling pillows and bedding.
Memory foam pillows were taking off. I focused on product quality, branding and packaging, and later sold the business.

I also built Adlytica, a platform for managing ads and tracking performance. At Dentsu, I worked on multimillion-dollar deals with Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 companies, mainly selling Salesforce implementations.
MYA started with
people asking.

At LS Projects, our construction and real estate business, we used ads to find construction clients and buyers for property projects, including spec homes.
Other firms noticed and asked us to help them do the same. There was so much demand that we built a separate business around it: MYA.
“Data talks.”
Our clients’ campaign results continually inform what we do next: what people watch, click and convert on. Sometimes those results contradict your own opinion.
Preferably,
by the sea.
I’ve visited 53 countries. Cape Town, Miami and Mallorca are favourites. Outside work, I love travelling, hiking and being out on my boat.
“I love being out on the water, on my boat, or at sea.”
